Terms & Conditions

Criteria

The following criteria applies to any request for funding:

1. Courses must be undertaken and completed before 31 August 2026
2. The course participant must be resident of Queensland.
3. Jobseekers and/or employees must satisfy at least one of the following grounds of Participant
• i) Australian citizen living in Queensland;
• ii) Permanent resident of Australia living in Queensland;
• iii) New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland;
• iv) Refugee and Humanitarian Visa Holder living in Queensland; or
• v) Temporary Visa Holder living in Queensland with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.
4. The following individuals are NOT eligible Participants for this Agreement:
• i) Employees of government departments, government agencies and local councils; and
• ii) All others that do not meet Participant Eligibility
5. Employers must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and be able to demonstrate their principal place of business is in Queensland.
6. Eligibility is subject to individual Approval.
7. All training courses are provided by one of the following Registered Training Organisations (RTO), any enrolment requirement and/or course term and conditions will apply to any participant:
• AUSTSWIM Ltd RTO 104975
• SWIM Coaches & Teachers Australia RTO 20948
• Royal Life Saving Society Queensland Inc RTO 5431
8. Funding is limited and is allocated to all regions within Queensland, it may occur that certain regions or course types may exhaust funding prior to other regions or course types.
9. Submission of an enquiry is not approval of funding and is not a training course enrolment, training course enrolment will be handled by one of the abovementioned RTOs.
10. Whilst we will take care to recommend training courses that suit you and an employers potential needs, due to the diversity of workplace and employer needs we do not guarantee that any training provided will guarantee employment or meet workplace requirements.
11. We reserve our right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice.
